Biography

Takayoshi Nakai is a guitarist and songwriter from Yokohama, Japan. He was born on February 15th. He mainly plays acoustic guitar. When he was young, he went to church with his parents and enjoyed singing hymns. At 14, he started playing an old electric guitar he got from his uncle. During high school, he joined bands and played guitar in rock groups. In his twenties, he began a solo career and mostly wrote and sang his own songs. Later, he moved to Ireland, where he released his first solo guitar album, "Medios Mixtos," in 2023.

Now, he's back in Japan and performs as a solo guitarist. In September 2024, he's set to play at the Lilis Hall in Sakae Ward, Yokohama City.
